Reverend Debra Federico, Pastor

I praise God each day for the wonderful opportunity I’ve been given to serve this gracious and loving community of faith! There is no greater privilege than to serve and shepherd God’s people – journeying together, as we learn, grow, serve, and worship the Lord Jesus Christ.

A bit about my background: Before answering the call to ministry I enjoyed a long career in Special Education. I am a graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary, having earned a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Evangelism, Missions, and Church Renewal. I also hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in education.

The Lord has given me a special love of missions, having led several short-term missions to Central America, as well as Disaster Response missions in the U.S. I love serving as a Rapid Response Chaplain for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

My husband, Tom, and I met as students at Ohio University; have been married for over 40 years; raised three wonderful adult children. Our great joy is being grandparents to our sweet little Miles and Tommy.

My spare time is spent enjoying my family, babysitting my grandsons, and snuggling with my little pug dogs in our big easy chair at home – it is heavenly!

Carol Dietrichs, Receptionist

I have been attending FBC since the age of 4 years old.  I was Baptized when I was 12, actively participated in BYF, sang with the youth choir and attended Sunday school.  I married Bob Dietrichs, who was a member of this church, in 1974. Our two children and granddaughter have been baptized here. Over the years I volunteered as a Sunday School teacher, served on various church boards and have sung in the choir since 1985.  Outside of church, I worked at Bedford City Schools for 35 years and retired in 2022. Upon retirement I decided to serve as the FBC church secretary.  FBC is my church family!

Seth Kenyon, Choir Director, Organist

Katrina Kenyon, Choir Section Leader

I have a bachelor's in general music with an emphasis on production from Malone University. I also studied voice and earned my certificate in Vocal Pedagogy. I have studied voice with Stephanie Sikora (from Ashland University), Cynthia Skelley Wohlschlager, and Ashlee Miller Gray (Malone University).

I have been leading worship since 2019 and love leading God’s people into worship. When I am not studying music I enjoy painting, embroidering, teaching young people, and spending time with my husband (Seth), and son (Theo).
